Remington 700 – Action Truing (Competition Package)

This includes all items in standard package in addition to installing bolt sleeves and performing firing pin assembly modification.

Bolt sleeves reduce the slop between the bolt body and raceway, creating better geometry which produces more consistent results shot to shot.

The firing pin assembly modification consists of the following:

1. Honing the firing pin cavity
2. Bushing the bolt face (provides for more consistent firing pin travel and support)
3. Firing pin size reduction and geometry change (to fit bolt face bushing)
4. Installing new firing pin spring

These modifications allow for more consistent ignition which will yield better accuracy.
